WFCA Expands Media Team

October 2009 - WFCA, the integrated, full service marketing communications agency has appointed Chris Wright and Martin Dewhirst to its Media business.

Wright has been hired as Deputy Media Director and will also take charge of Media Planning. He joins after twelve years at Initiative Media, where he held the post of Strategic Planning Director across the Unilever, Samsung, Johnson & Johnson and Coca-Cola accounts, to name a few.

Dewhirst has been hired as the Head of Broadcast at WFCA and prior to joining worked as a consultant with Nestlé's in-house media team, after lengthy spells at PHD as TV Group Manager and Sky Media as Media Partner Controller.

The appointments are the first under Media Director Mark Gallagher, who joined WFCA in September with the objective to double WFCA's media business over the next 18 months. He said:
